Apple will launch the much-anticipated smartphone of the year, the iPhone 15 series, in about six months, and the internet is buzzing with speculation ahead of the release It looks like the premium phones in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max lineup will have Apple’s slimmest bezels yet. According to a report, the Cupertino-based tech giant is planning to put a front display on both smartphones with bezels as thin as 1.55 mm 0.06 inches according to a leaked video online.

In a video shared by tipster Ice Universe on Twitter, Apple goes ahead with the plan, launching the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Max with 1.55mm bezels, which would make it the thinnest bezel on any smartphone ever. The iPhone 15 Pro Max brakes the 1.81mm black bezel record held by the Xiaomi 13, and tipster Ice Universe tweeted on Friday that the black bezel of the cover plate measured just 1.55mm.

A video leak from Chinese websites Bilibili and Douyin previously showed screens that were said to feature on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max with the thinnest bezels ever seen on an Apple smartphone. While there aren’t any noticeable big changes, the bezels on all four iPhone 15 models are likely to be slightly curved around the edges, similar to the iPhone 11 series.

Several reports suggest that four models in the iPhone 15 series will get Apple’s famous Dynamic Island, which was previously limited only to premium iPhones. Another report suggests that Apple is likely to provide Wi-Fi 6E support for the iPhone 15 Pro variants. Smartphones in the iPhone 15 series may also feature solid-state button haptic feedback and increased RAM.
